About Anjung

Anjung is a free map of homestays in Malaysia. You find a place, then message the owner yourself on WhatsApp. We are not a booking site: we never take payment, never hold a deposit and never charge commission, to guests or to owners.

Who runs it

Anjung is a personal project run by Taufiq. It is not a company and it earns nothing from listings.

Where the listings come from

Listings come from details that homestays have already made public, and from owners who add their own place. If a listing has not been checked with its owner, the page says "Not checked yet". Always confirm the details with the owner before you pay anything.

Is this your place?

1. To manage it (correct details, add your own photos): open your listing and choose "Is this your homestay? Claim it". It is free.
2. To have it removed: see Privacy and removal. We take it down, no questions asked.

"Muslim-friendly"

Anjung lists all homestays. Muslim-friendly is a filter you can switch on, based on what the owner or the source says. We do not inspect or certify any place.
